Is there no outside grow category or did I miss it? If there are any growers on here that really need help its an inside grower trying to grow outside. LOL
Anyway, its been wet in Maine this summer, I am guessing it always is but I do know there are hobby and commercial growers up here growing outside so I know it possible even with a short season.
Yesterday we had a little rain in the afternoon, after it was over I shook off what water I could just like I have been doing. This afternoon I came home and saw bud rot on all 3 autos, not a lot but it would be a lot by tomorrow afternoon, So I cut it off and we will see how it goes. Nice looking and great smelling Lemon OG autos probably about 2 weeks out. I love the photo period, great smoke and huge yields.
Any outside growers in New England got any advise to help me? I am thinking maybe autos should go out later in the summer so they less moist naturally in July and August? I am also wondering if there will be enough time for the photo periods to finish or at least get big enough buds to rot? They started to show pistils about 3 -4 weeks ago but still dont have anything growing I could call a bud. The sister clones in RDWC I have going inside are covered with big balls of pistils and I did the flip a week or more after the outdoor plants showed signs of flower

I think I remember these from when they re-vegged. It looks like Sigmund the Sea Monster, lol. Are they starting to flower again? If it were me I would defol the hell out of those and probably still have enough clones to plant an acre. The one time I let a re-veg do its own thing was a SCROG inside and it made a full canopy of smallish buds.
Sounds like your new to Hydro so if I may suggest, post your plans for growing from the bottom up, lights, nutrients, controlling water temps or no, using PH perfect nutrients, bacteria, air pump and a couple other dozen things.
Lots of great hydro growers on here and most will tell you DWC is a great way to grow but it can be fragile when you start out so you need to find and keep the balance that works for you. Remember its not natural for weed to grow in water with no solid media to hold the roots but when you get it dialed in its an awesome way to grow and never dirty.
I came to the WP years ago because I had started a DWC grow and it got ugly overnight. The users told me what I had done wrong and helped me in more ways than I can say. Yep I agree, PH is too high and dump the buckets. Cant do that with a soil or coco grow now can you lol,
