Legal states

This is for the ones growing where recreational is legal.

What are some of your states limitations to growing your own and amount allowed? My state is coming up to vote on recreational this year. Again, for the second time.

      • Wow, so 16, one cola plants in a 4x4 SOG may produce 1-1.5 LB but you're breaking the law. Or, run 4 tents with one plant in each tent in a scrog, probably yield 4-6 LBs in total but you're legal. I'll take option 2 please!

            • My state got medical in 2016, and tried for recreational at the same time, just to get it denied.

                • Oregon here.  I think Oregon was first, not sure.  We can have 6 plants in flower and 6 juveniles for personal use.  I grow indoors only, not sure about outdoors.  Oddly you can only have a finished ounce in possession.  Nobody follows the rules though except the pot shops and commercial grows.  Much like California, the entire state reeks of skunk all of October!

                  • Maine is pretty lax really, medical was $500 for 2 years and that covered 12 plants in flower and 24 in veg but I think the costs have gone up now and its gotten a bit more complicated. I guess I will find out in 2022. I am not sure how the recreational is going but it seemed more restricted than the Medical license. Weird but they dont want medical and recreational grown in the same areas and you did have to keep the 2 businesses separate.

Sadly our Live Free Or Die neighbor state still hasn't legalized medical yet as far as I know.

                    • Go ahead and keep it illegal because when/if it becomes legal in my state i still will not comply. I wont get a license and i wont be regulated

                        • A few of the states allow you to be a care giver too and grow other people plants out for them, which raises the plant count a little.
