Since I'm about to start a grow in December and humidity will be less of an issue, I'm curious how many plants I should grow in a 4x2x5 grow tent? Usually, I do 3-4 autoflowers, but I was thinking of doing 6 in 3 gallon pots. Please respond with what size pots you would use for how many plants for a grow this tight.

Me personally, I think less is more. I prefer to grow the shit out of one plant rather than stuffing a tent with smaller plants.
That brings up an intresting question, is it the number of plants or the size of the canopy? I am thinking its the size of the canopy. SOG vs SCROG
That's my thought. I don't need a ton of plants. I'm am in a 30"×30"×5' room so I Scrog one plant and generally get a little over 4oz per plant which works perfectly for me.
Nothing wrong with that, they changed the law up here to include canopy size, I think someone filled a gym with 6 plants. Lol.
personally i would stay with 3..4 instead of 6, i think thats gonna be to full in the end which will make it hard for decent airflow for instance.
n that size i have grown 2 good size plants .... how long r u going 2 veg has a lot 2 do with it and the plant flowering period ....
Honestly, in that space, I'm thinking 2 10gal pots will give you just as much. You can do what you're thinking in order to get more variety but for quality, quantity, and easier operation I say fewer is better.
I'm with Jim.
3 to 4 tops in 3 gallon pots. Hook up an auto feed system I'd do 4 no problem but considering the height, change the light cycle at the 3rd node. What type of light you using?
I have a tent that is 2 X 4 X 6 and 2 plants in 7 gallon bags and a SCROG net works great for me, Stick to similar strains or better yet the same strain.

Wow, thanks for all of your responses. I love the solidarity in the grower community. I'm gonna push it and do 4 of the gorilla glue auto from nirvana
