We work hard to provide transparency and meaningful choice when you use Weedportal and the Weedportal Services and Websites. More information about our privacy safeguards is provided below.

What do we do with your information?

When you create an account on this website we collect the personal information that you provide to us, such as your name, nickname, password and e-mail address. The purpose of this is for you to be able to log in and post messages on our website. When you browse our website, we automatically receive the Internet Protocol address (IP address) of your computer as well as information about your browser and operating system. The purpose of this is to be able to show the website optimally. When you post messages or upload various media on weedportal, this data stays connected with your account. The same if you reply to other peoples messages or if you like/dislike someone elses post. Weedportal is an initiative and closely connected with Nirvana Shop. At this moment there is no direct link between your Weedportal account and, if you have one, your Nirvana Shop account. In future though, it is most likely that we will connect your account with your Nirvana Shop account. The purpose would be to make it easier to log in through single sign-on and also spend your collected Weedportal points in Nirvana Shop. If such a connection is made in the future, we will ask for your permission before we do so.

Permissions

We do not share your personal information with third parties. If in future we would like to do that, for whatever reason, we will ask for your permission before we do so. Also, we do not send out promotional e-mails to Weedportal account owners. If you do get promotional e-mails from Nirvana Shop, then you must have activated the newsletter option during account creation in Nirvana Shop. If you want to stop receiving those promotional emails then you have to de-activate the option in your Nirvana Shop account or click the opt-out link in the e-mail. You cannot stop these promotional e-mails from your Weedportal account

Disclosure

We will share your personal information with legal authorities if we have the legal obligation or if you breach the service conditions. In addition, there is a legal obligation to inform you about the personal data that we process from you if you so request. If you want to know which personal data we process from you, you can request this at the address below. We will send you your details within 1 month after we received the request. If we are unable to realize this within the set period of 1 month, you will receive notification within 1 month. Removing personal data

We will remove your personal data if your account is inactive for more than seven years. You can submit a request at any time to delete your personal data. If we have the legal obligation to do so, certain information will have to be retained according to the legal deadline. In that case, that data will not be deleted. Your data will be deleted within 1 month after we receive your request. If we are unable to realize this within the set period of 1 month, you will be notified of this within 1 month of the request. If you want your data to be deleted, you can submit a request to the address below. You must be able to identify yourself with a valid identity card such as a passport or an ID issued by your government.

Services of third parties

We don’t share your personal data with third parties. If in the future we like to do so otherwise, we will inform you about that and ask for your consent. As soon as you leave the website of our store or are redirected to a website or application of a third party, this privacy statement is no longer applicable.
