How do you prove a Regular seeds sex?
So I got some regs going as a side project, 4 Super Silver Haze from Nirvana, 3 Lemon OG Haze from Ethos, and finally 2 Unknown Kush from Delicious seeds. I really want to cross the Super Silver Haze and the Lemon OG, I think they will make a great combo and depending on what the Unknown Kush It could be a benefit to both of those strains.
So what I am thinking is a a couple of weeks I will flip the lights to 12/12 and see what is what. So once I suspect a female I will probably pull it and put it back in veg and let the males run their course under 12/12 and collect the pollen. Does that sound like it could work?

Your only real other way to get them to sex is doing exactly what you are planning. You could take clones and use those to test? Seems easier to do what you plan.

Females usually indicate after they're mature, in veg.
One single flower should pop up in the crotch of the nodes.

I just had 2 unknown k x lavender and 2 unknown k x black domina reg pop on me yesterday. My plan is I'll take a male or female of either strain and I have a few of oceangrown regs going and cross them both. one male, 2 different females in a 4x4 and let them do their thing. Collecting pollen is good but shit can go wrong and not as planned.
I'm gonna let them do it the old fashion way.

It's funny how there are those that don't want to be male ( i'm talking seeds ) , but when push comes to shove , the main part is kept and never cut off . What's that about ?

Do it like you're planning to. A side project to make some seeds doesn't have to be complicated. Veg 4 weeks, flip, and start checking after 7 days, move back to veg as soon as you know the sex. Keep your males separated and isolated. When you get good flowers and pollen, bring the female to the male.

That is the plan basically but I do see a larger tent in my future, I may want to keep some of the females as clone mothers. I suppose the only stressful part is making sure only what I want pollenated gets pollenated.

I like your plan EXCEPT for moving the female back to veg. The males will be first to show sex, take the male out of the group and put him in another room, still under 12/12 . When the female starts to show, put her in with him. If you don't have a room for this, you can make a temporary room out of panda plastic. This way you'll end up with A LOT of seeds. Not sure if this answers your question. I agree with Pipes on letting them do their thing, without having to collect pollen.
