Harvest

Am new grower and 1st harvest. Are fan leaves good for anything? Should i dry and save them or are they simply trash ? Can i use them toMake oil or cannabutterfor edibles? What parts of plant can i use for oil, butter, edibles?

Hi Ed welcome to WP some people actually make juice from them or eat them in a salad I would think it would taste like shit but Hay who I’m I to judge to each his own if you’d like to try let me know how it taste 👅

Oh ya my wife puts them in with alcohol and menthol and uses it for rubbing on her joints she has bad arthritis I don’t have any medical proof but she swears bye it

other then that just trash them good luck on your grow 👍

  I have read that where people used it like that with alcohol for joint pain and arthritis. The alcohol helps the skin absorb whatever is in the leaves that helps with it.

Use mine along with stems ( ground up) and roots in tincture! Waste not, want not! 😁 Happy growing

I have taken the stem of a fan leave and pushed it into the soil and it has turned into a new plant.

  My dog loved the leaves, he liked broccoli too. Other than that I say use them for compost and if they are big healthy leaves, you may have harvested too soon

I think compost is about the best thing you can do with the fan leaves. As far as I know they have no medicinal value and they taste like crap in a salad so let them rot and regen some of the nutes you put in them.
