Lighting

I currently am using LED's to grow rated at 10,000 lumens and is full spectrum. The T-5 I ordered is at 64k so my question is, is this sufficient and what are recommendations for nutrients that I should be using. Any help would be appreciated because my flowers are not very big and are not thick and beefy in my last attempts. Thank you all in advance for your remarks.

    • What other lights have you considered?  I found t5 to be great for young and veggies but I don't. Think I would flower on one, don't see why not though.

Have you looked into the viparspectra lights very good value.  Not a high end super light,  but it gets the job done pretty well. The p series is nice but I think the xs has more diodes. I use the xs 2000 and p2000 and a meter app and have good success, I think.

      • 6400k spectrum is more for flower than veg. you can get through an entire grow using a T5!  Ideally they are for seedlings and clones but you can change the bulbs out to get a full spectrum with plenty of actual wattage!  Vipars are good and cheap! Mars makes decent lights for not alot of money

I like HLG and Spiderfarmer. Theyre a good mid/high range LED and decent pricing

        • I still go old school even with LED's, min 35-55 max true watts from the wall per square foot and the PPFD charts, if they dip much below 500ppfd in the corners of the grow area and go much above 1000 ppfd in the middle its not a balance you will be happy with
