to me it seems certain people just dont get high from edibles. I made jalapeno cornbread with some cannabutter from trim a year or two ago and i barely got high from it. my sister had a tiny square and she thought she was gonna die!! Of course she doesnt smoke so i must have a strong tolerance to thc. if i take enough it only makes me sleepy. also it takes a good hour or two before you feel anything with edibles
quality of the product makes a big difference i like to use the gummies more than smoke with my copd.but you also have to figure out your amount needed. it took a while to get mine dialed in. but on some strains i still have to smoke a bowl with them.
would it matter if the person making the canabutter didn't decarb it first, before cooking it with the butter? is cooking it with the butter enough? reason I'm asking is when making brownies and using just flower crushed up and mixed in gets people high because it gets decarbed. but if I'm making cookies with cannabutter thats not decarbed will it decarb in the short time it takes to cook the cookies 8mins?
I decarb every time . Never had a problem. You said that everyone who ate them could feel it. May I ask if they got a good Buzz or just mildly??? May be how your processing your herb. It all depends on the material your using . Even from the same plant. Trim/ trim and small popcorn buds... 1/2 trim 1/2 buds.... depends on what cha have . as a example. Edibles last a lot longer for me , sleeping /pain. Every batch I make, although measured almost the same is a bit different in strength. Most times are perfect. Other times ... way to strong. I’ve learned to sample each NEW batch in a smaller dose. I do not like to be Obliviated, and tend to micro dose a lot as well, with final one right at bedtime.
edibles affect you with a different "high" one get a "body" high instead of a "mind" high Caution: when eating edibles start out eating small amounts - waiting aout 30 minutes before eating more - over-doing-it is a common ting with edibles
