      • Hard to tell from pics. If using soil maybe just bury a bunch and keep the good ones that sprout.

        • Ok , so move them now into those (soil) plugs I have? Use perhaps a few seeds per pod?

          • If any of them have the tap root poping out you could put them it the plugs. For the ones that dont have tails I would put them all in a solo cup of soil or coco coir and see if any pop there heads out. If they do I would pull them and put them in a pod if thats what your going to use or striaght into the final media. If you use solo cups make sure they cuts in the bottom for the water to drian.

You would do well to go to GrowWeedEasy.com and read what intrests you

            • I can see the outer shell crack open on many of the seeds but I cannot see any definitive sign of life yet.  I will put about half of them into plugs tommorrow and see what happens next.

Thank you for the link, will have a look!

I am doing my best to do as this guy shows he is doing with old seeds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPzfZ_xFXtE&t=298s

            • Get them outta whatever that is you gottem in, and wet down a couple paper towels, fold to fit, and cover the seeds, then place them on a paper plate and water with bottled water. The place the plate with seeds in a baggie. Leave the baggie open and place it all on a warm surface such as a TV dish receiver, or on top of your fridge. Water daily, and when the seeds sprout plant them suckers. Next time clean the debris out of your seeds before germinating, that can cause probs with fungus.GL

              • I have put an equal amount of seeds in a papertowel in zip lock bag, pretty much as you describe as well. Not much to show a picture of so I didnt. I am thinking there might be a bit too much water in the bag, will go drain it right away!

                • I like to keep it moist, a good reference I use for that is if you can squeeze water out with one hand - it’s got to much moisture in it.

But you would soak the seeds for an hour or 2 in a peroxide solution before you put them into the moist paper towel.

                  • This is very useful to know. I have had some big misses with the ziplock trying to germinate regular stuff, it all turned into mold several times. Had the most succes with the plugs tbh.

                    • Go easy on the water !! Like J said moist not soaked ! Germination and the first few weeks of growth are when the seedlings need attention to detail. GL
