Bad luck ...

Spoted some more mold on the dried main colas of pheno 1,2,3,4 ; i already had mold 3 or 4 time before harvest with some previous grows but it's first time i have mold still spreading while drying but it's also true humidity was still a bit high the first few day of drying around 70% it came back to 50% middle of the drying process😒 lost a signifiant amount of buds like 1/3 of what's have been harvested so far 😒

    • What are the conditions making it hard to control? Maybe we can figure something out seems as though if it was just a dehumidifier thing you would have or have already done it.  Do you have one? Just feel really bad for ya Vince sucks you’re having to deal with that

      • also RH at night inside the tent could be higher than room RH even with 220m3/h extractor running 24/24

      • i grow indoors and have to deal with high humidity and pretty hot ambient temps. I run an AC and several fans, especially during flower. During the Veg time i dont mind the humidity so much

        • Don't worry, most of the time i don't run into such trouble just this time a few week with high rh near the end of flowering and first week of drying plus probably a strain sensitive to mold more than some others.

          • The home remodeler in me is wondering if there is something going on in your house that it causing this problem? Like a pipe leaking in a wall or a primary drain line backing up inside your walls.

              Fans, dehumidifiers and AC's are all good. Try to keep the air moving top and bottom. I've also used Banish at the first sign of powdery mildew and it took care of those white spots pretty quick.

            • I’m missing something, if I can control my humidity within 3% of where I want it in South Florida in middle of August in a laundry room with the press of a couple buttons you should have no issues in a tent. Your grows are solid, it would drive me mad not figuring this out if I’m you, at least I want piece of mind no more mold possibilities.

                • nope no foliar feeding just humidity tend to be high at night inside the tent once the plants are big enough.

                • i agree with texasbob,  invest in a dehumidifier as it will be worth the money for sure and you will have way less stress which is worth alot.

                  • out of 22 grows this is the first time i had mold continuing spreading while drying

                    i had some mold like with 6 grow (usually 1-3 phenos out of 8) but each time i cleaned the bud at the time of harvest, usually lost a little but not that much, but 5 time it didn't spread more while drying.

                    it remain 16 grows without any issues regarding mold wich include 5 nirvana strains, never had such issue with a strain from Nirvana.

                    so i'm more on the side of bad luck with weather and ambient humidity plus some strain less resistant to mold than some others.
