Strains for high temps and humidity
What’s some good strains for the Southeast US? The temps and humidity are ridiculous down here

I think the sativas generally like it hot and humid. Some do. The black congo I have comes from the equatorial areas and would probably love it for instance. Look for hybrids with their roots in south asia, or jungle breeds. Good luck

indeed they are, along with the bugs...purdy difficult to grow outdoors without a greenhouse in the area you speak of...I'd be looking for a mold resistant strain maybe...I quit the outdoor thing many moons ago...

Malawi Killer grew well in the heat and humidity. Didn't finish, but grew well.
Because...being a Sativa landrace, it's got a 12 week flower time.
So unless you have a loooooong season there...

I think the long winded varieties need lots of planning so they flower properly. And best if you live somewhere relatively frost free.

Your best bet is a Sativa as mentioned, they are usually from those kind of conditions but they do take time to flower especially outside. I would think a 50/50 Sativa/Indica highbred would be good option or a higher percentage of Sativa with a little Indica so it flowers in a shorter time frame. Most strains can take a lot of heat but keep an eye out for bud rot.

Some strains are bred for harsh conditions, jacks dream by green house would be good for you man, he says he used AMS an it’s supposed to be cherished for its mold resistance.
in fact that’s what AMS stands for is anti-mold-system.

The Candy Kush I grew really did not mind the heat can't really speak to the humidity because I'm an indoor grower and it's controlled but in and around the summers I can only get it so cold in there especially this grow which I have to say the blue dream and chemdawg aren't doing bad either temps between 80-83 lights on.

Feeling the heat here too Hulk, my day temp have popped to the mid 80's and nights I can still get it back down to the low 70's mostly. Don't want to add to my electric bill with an air conditioner!😆

That's actually not that bad especially if that unusually high there for you just about what my grow room is now I think you have more strain options then you think, good luck D.
