      • Personally, I've had better results with trimming, than without.

Without, I got a bush, full of light fluffy larf.

With, I'm harvesting buds, with little/ no larf.

Rick...You gave me information about my auto flower plants. First I wanted to tell you thanks. Also are you saying that I should not do any trimming until the plant goes into the flowering stage? If so how soon after it starts to flower?

            • First off I'm no auto expert! As the other guys said treat it like a photoperiod. I'd probably wait till it was a couple 3 weeks into flower. And would trim the leaves that are covering up bud sites. That's what we all do with photoperiod plants. SanBoisRedux & ChAs420 are most likely more experienced than me with autos. SanBois for sure is more experienced than me cause he's an old mofo, so am I he's just older. tongue-out Honestly most the guys and gals on here are of advanced years. Hope this helps. Don't be afraid to ask questions, the guys and gals like to try and help.

                • Agree with chas. Once they start stacking flowers do whatever you would do to photos. Mine are outdoors but I'm defoliating a little everyday.
