I agree 100% , You do NOT want to have to deal with white powdery mildew. I learned the hard way.

very very seldom spray anything on my plants except when cloning, i mist em under dome...

You spray the leaves in veg, and for only the first 3-4 weeks of flower. It's not something you do everyday either, and make sure your air circulation is good. It's not for everybody but it does have it's place.

It is not very advisable to water the leaves and buds, as some problems may occur, for example, destruction of trichomes, insects, fungus, cooking by the sun..., I just preffer to wet the soil and let the roots absorb the water.
