Question about dehumidifier
I see in the description for my Aurora Indica AF that it is recommended to use a dehumidifier towards the end to avoid fungus, however it doesnt mention what humidity to aim for. It is mostly around 40-50% as it is now.

Sub asked me to tell you this NEWB! : 40-505 is perfectly fine for indoor humidity and i (read he) would kill for those numbers!.
(Sub has problems joining WP again and hopefully its fixed soon again so he can join himself again)

I like Subs answer here, I like to drop my humility each week the last month or so 5% I like it to be around 30-40% in the end not always achievable but lowering the temp as well is as just as important IMO to fatten them up plus helps bring the humility down.

I have been trying several configurations to keep it all stable and this is what I ended up with.
The plants has about 24 celcius during daytime and usually dropping a little below 20 during the night. The fresh air intake is about 5+ celcius with high humidity, I take the fresh air in on top over the light. I ended up needing to heat up the whole room to about 23 to stop the "climate" in the tent and the room from going all crazy.
What do you consider a lower temperature?

Hey Newb, I like to start veg from germ at a temp of 78-82 degrees with 60-70% humidity then early flower I’ll drop it to 73-77 once in flower I’ll wait till last 5-6 weeks and drop temps bout 5 degrees each 1-2 weeks I’m able to get temps to low 60’s light off to mid to low 70’s light on. I don’t believe it’s the temp range is as important as breaking the norm temp when flip to flower this helps let the plant know it’s go time.

Interesting topic. My last grow I was unable to manage my rh% in flowering. When the lights would go out the rh went high at 70% . I was wigging out but I realized I had to deal with it so I put 3 pole fans on her (not hurricaine strength winds lol just a good even breeze and this helped with no mold or mildew issue. I am a firm believer in air movement if your worried about mold and mildew. This was one of the best harvest yet for me I like to keep humidity in late flowering only at around 50% . Look up VPD charts for cannabis and I swear by this. I try to hit those ranges in seedling , veg. and flowering stages. VPD is where it is at. If I have a plant transpiring I have a plant uptaking . Think of growing as a car .....there are several components working together to achieve a goal . Not just one thing. We never have a perfect environment something always happens but what we do is adapt to what we have and make it work.
You rock dude ..I love people that think independently because you are always learning

This is the good stuff that keeps me here and motivated to learn more. Cake I had a crash course on VPD I have tried growing 2 plants to 9 at one time and learned quick about loosing control of the environment is easy to do. I have found 4-5 plants are optimal for my grow room
