Harvest Day!

Harvest day is finally here.  After 126 days (49 veg, 77 flower) it was time for the girls to move on to the next stage.  Decided to dry them a bit slow and do all the trimming afterwards.  Will update with final trim weight and early smoke report.

              • They flowered for 77 days.  Had them in veg for 42.  I was very happy with the final yield as I got my first pound of weed grown from 3 plants.  This did not include trim which I froze then dry sifted and pull 6.6 grams of kief after 2 rounds of sifting.  I might do one more round or simply make some tinctures from the remaining trim.

I dried them for 13 days between 65-70 degrees and maintained a humidity level of 60.  I think this contributed to the smoothness of the smoke before even curing.  I have never smoked Jack Herer before so was pleasantly surprised by the effects.  For me almost a full body relaxation within 5 mins.  Clears my head and allows me to concentrate on whatever I am doing.  Very smooth and clean smoke.  I would definitely grow this strain again.
