    • Good read....I have been reading that right now everyone wants the highest THC me included, but this article makes perfect sense. I have smoked super concentrate around 90% and I have smoked flower around low 20's and thought I felt more of a buzz from flower than concentrates. Everything I'm reading is suggesting that consumers will eventually look for a more balanced product a perfect mix if you will of CBD THC and other compounds. Plus because we are all different like a wine you will have to search for the one that best suits your fancy.

      • I dont know how to take all the THC and CBD info and ratings becasue a Sativa at 20% and an Indica at 20% are just not the same buzz.

          It's all about the "Entourage Effect".

          How do all the terpenes, THC, CBD, CBG, etc.  work together for a desired effect. Add in different people getting different effects from same strains...

          That's why finding a "best" strain for a certain med condition is such a bitch.

          • Exactly, very hard process. I always remember how they came up with a strain called Charolettes strain for a little girl suffering from 20 plus seizures a day to under 5 and sometimes none at all it was a mother’s determination to get her daughter the relief she needed.

          • Interesting little tidbit I learned about a couple years ago. Medical is legal here, the grower has to send in 5g for the test. They very carefully cut all of the stem and leaf from the bud and submit it for the test. Not what you buy in the dispensary but it gives them the best possible test.

            • Great read Chubby! I really believe that the different cabanoids that haven't been studied yet and how they are present in each different strain is what makes one strain better than another. I have grown and smoked some of the higher thc strains but I really prefer strains like AK48, northern lights, and Maui that don't have as high of a thc content but a more rounded cabanoid profile.
