Adversity
A few weeks ago I diagnosed my problem to be hot soil. A few are aware I switched to coco. I failed to state that that coco was CHEAP coco. It was $3 a sack. I doubt it was washed, I doubt it’s prepared well for growing cannabis. Which is why my grows haven’t been taking off. I’d love to say I overwater, I’d love to blame the pH. So, could it make sense that bad quality coco coir be the main reason for my failing second attempt? Could anyone follow?

I think you answered your own question. Rinse to coir.

I have a habit of doing that. I came prepared. I’ve got good quality coco ready. I just gave this cheap coco a shot but it seems like nothing is handed down to me easily these days…

It all seem so easy but then there is always one more lesson to learn. Going through the same thing here with germination.

I'd check the run off PH. It should say on the bag if it's rinsed or not. Mycos will help the rooting too.0 0 0 0 0 0 0 -

The cheap stuff usually has too much salt in it.

Thanks I personally been wanting to say that about the coco, butt didn't want to sound like a dick...but yea ya can't cut any corners when using coco...Even if they claim it's been washed you need to flush it yourself...I personally use cocoTek...I flush my coco with water till the water run off is clear...

I've been using either mother earth coco or fox farms 70%/30% coco perlite mix, love them both, never Rinse, EVER!
Right outta the bag, right into the pots!
For seedlings first two waterings use just root stimulator and calmag, then from that point in light nutrient mix and go from there.
Hasn't failed me yet!
