Kush & OG
Alright so I have been looking for a good kush / OG for a few years. I want like a dank funky rotten OG pine does anyone have any good suggestions.
As of now I have Alien Og from Cali connection and I don’t like it, every pheno I’ve found so far is like licking a pine cone off the forest floor...way to clean for me.
I also have chem Vally kush and it’s ok, it’s kinda like kerosene poured onto a pine tree so I like it pretty good but I believe it will be better once I hit it with a skunk or something garlic.
and then I have stardawg IX and it’s my favorite of the bunch but I believe there could be something better out there like with more frost an a louder smell, plus there’s plenty I’ve not tried and that’s why I’m asking on here.

Was it possible to bring out a variety that remained in the tent for a long time, which would you really like? How many crosses do you need to make to get something special, your own?

I’m sorry Izigrow I’m having trouble understanding what your asking somewhat but to the second question you asked about how many crosses it takes to make something unique and your own.
I would say not many it really depends on the phenos you find and your selection process. You could go with a 2 strain cross but after the F1 it’s up to you what traits you want to pass on and the further you go from the F1 generation, the less genetics material you have to use like say traits and such. That is unless your using multiple mothers or fathers during the crosses.

So yea I planted the Peanut Butter Breath because I too like that kind of smoke and PBB is suppose to have that
a descendent of Mendo Breath F2 and Do-Si-Dos in terms of ancestry. The flavor of Peanut Butter Breath is described as piney, woody, and herbal.
also says it is an advanced kid and is difficult to grow. we will see.

I do love a Kush, never smoked one I didnt like, I think I like them because they are usually hybrids around 50/50 Sativa/Indica. That said, Nirvanas old Misty Kush is a favorite of mine but they changed the parents and stopped selling them on this side of the pond. Rainbow Kush from AMS is top shelf and I have not smoked it yet but Unknown Kush from Delicious seeds will probably be my #1 choice after I get a chance to grow it out. Those 2 have a really strong blueberry smell to me, very sweet, no fuel smell at all. I have not seen a female Spartan Kush yet but the crosses are top shelf.
