Defoil and thinning using Scrog Net

I've seen a bunch of different pics but would love to hear what everyone's thoughts on how much to take off regarding leaves and branches that might not be to a certain height.

These are feminized photo that I've been cleaning out underneath as they've grown.  Im at 7 days from the light flip to 12-12.

    • The way I do it is once the plant get to the point that you are weaving it into the net everything under the net comes off. Your net is much higher than what I do so I am interested in seeing others responses. If it were me I would drop that net another 4 or 5 inches. Your grow looks great!

        • lower the net down til the plants flatten out. the whole purpose is to get horizontal growth in my opinion

          • On the defoliation side I would not take much if any until your stretch is done 7 days from flip probably can count on 2to 3 weeks of stretch and you want the most stretch you can get but removing at this point might stress and stunt there growth. I must have been under a lot of stress as a kid
