    • @Starfish the general consensus is that couple days of dark before the chop makes the plant throw out more trichomes to save it self, or help propagate itself.

      • Nevermind the "darkness debate"...

Am I the only one wondering how the hell this plant is ready to chop??  It's FULL of white pistils!  She's bulking up, and has at least 3 weeks to a month left.

            • Harvest a Haze to soon and you get a rocketship to the moon and back so maybe its the grower that is the one that is ready. For me the plant needs a couple more weeks at least. They could swell up quite a bit more by then too.

            • I do the 48 of darkness. Not sure if it makes a difference but it's easy enough and it can't hurt. Not sold on flushing though.

              • Me too TB 36 hours of dark at flip and same at the end. Like you say cant hurt and I have tried flushing and not flushing on same grow and couldn't tell the difference.

                • I will give her another 2 weeks but she is already 50/50 milky and amber. I don't like all amber cause I hate couch lock! She started to fade on her own and I stopped giving her nutrients so whatever is left in the soil is gonna have to do.

                  • Are you sure your looking at the calyx and not the sugar leaves? The auto version I just finished had amber trichs on the sugar leaves for a month before the trichs on the calyx turned milky and the pistils were all amber and drawn in before then.

Since you stopped feeding it the plant had no choice but to start pulling from the leaves. For me I let the plant do that on its own and that tells me its getting close to the end.
