My Ethos Lemon OG Haze Female & Nirvana Super Silver Haze Male
These F2 crosses I made were little disappointing at first, the first disappointment was only 1 out of 3 plants had solid nugs, the other 2 had a lot of foxtails and all the buds were loose. I have not smoked much of the solid nugs yet, I want them to cure longer, but I have been smoking the foxtails for about a week in some pre-rolled cones I filled. At first I was a bit disappointed because it isnt a butt kicking smoke and then I remembered that isnt why a made the cross. I needed a smoke that didnt kick my butt, helped my ADD by making me focus on what ever I need to focus on and stimulated my creativity and that is exactly what it does. I absolutely see a F3 happening eventually but I wonder should I cross an F1 & a F2 for the F3 or cross two F2's for the F3?

I guess I should try the one with the firm buds and see how it is. Either way it will take some time to figure out which pheno I have and before I make the cross they didnt show any signs of being different until they were about 1/2 through flower. It will still be faster than growing a Landrace Sativa lol

I'm with Jim on this one.
While like ChAs420 said, it's your choice as to what you breed, to get an F3, you cross two F2's.

From my understanding When you make seeds and go forward in the generations your culling phenos out of the gene pool, what your talking about would be an F3 & is similar to a Bx, but technically you would have to use one of the original parents that made the line for it to be considered a Backcross.
I don’t wanna write a page worth so I tried to keep it short. GL man

Is it possible to have a back cross that is not inbreed?

Always consider that you can pollinate one female plant with different pollens.

We had a dachshund when I was a kid that proved that to me. Seems like every year she would have 4 little pups that looked just like her and then and one fuzzy looking cockapoo. But with seeds how would you know?
