What is your preferred way to sex a reg?
I dropped 10 of my Lemon OG Haze F4 and Super Silver Haze BX1's. I want to pick a female to clone and grow out and a female or male to cross with a Hash Plant. I have 2 options, I know of, to sex the plants, I could flip the whole plant and then switch back to veg after I see signs or I could cut clones from each plant and put it under 12/12 while the mothers keep growing. Whats your preferred method or what do you speculate would be your proffered method? I dont think there is a wrong answer for this, well other than I only grow fem's or even worse I only grow Awful Flower Fems, lol

Top each plant in question, then clone those tops on 12/12 sounds most time efficient.
That way, any females found already have a clone going.

Thanks that is what I have been doing. I have force sexed a few times but I miss judged at least one plant every time I tried that. I should have let them go longer but I didnt want to deal with a reveg, Wishful thinking dont make it happen

It depends on what you want out of the mother plant. Both Rbt and CPW techniques will work. If you're wanting multiple clones quicker out of the plant being sexed, Rbt's way would be best. If you "miss judged "a plant as CPW did, it can be devastating to say the least ! Good luck0 0 0 0 0 0 0

My preferred method is to let the plant veg long enough, it will show its sex once it hits preflower.

I know but the plant grows better when it’s not forced into flower, an they’ll start budding from day one of the flip too.

Oh hell , just about everything I do is forcing them to do something that is unnatural starting with my grow media, water and they take to that like fish. Stress is good cannabis.

also of possible start from seed 18/6 using flower lighting (not full cycle spectrum) then at week 2 use 12/12 cycle or just start at 12/12 using flower spectrum- then swith back to 18/6 or leave at 12/12 once sex is determined
