Hermie seeds

Quick easy question,

do seeds from a hermied plant grow hermie or feminized? Is it worth keeping the seeds from a good strain that got hermied?

      • More than likely they will be both Feminized and Hermie. When this happens to me I take a lot of things into consideration. Quality of the plant, how smooth was the grow from start to finish and just how many seeds did I collect. If the plant is loaded down than no I won't keep any seeds from it but if I only come up with a few while smoking her than I say plant away. I had a GSC from Dutch Passion that was spectacular except for a few seeds in her. I have grown  a couple beans from her and ended with the same result. Great smoke and a few beans. I will say that I make it a point to discard any new beans from plants grown from Hermie seeds. Not sure if the quality would be there from a second gen hermied plant.

        Hope it helps.✌🏻

        • When I consider my time and the cost of growing a seed its not worth the risk to me and if I grew a bunch of plants then I would say its really not worth the risk. I would clean the seeds out of the bud and smoke the hell out of it like it was 1977 though. What strain was it and where did it come from? Do you think it was operator error or genetics or both?

          • Oh it was definitely operator error. I thought I could trust someone to take care of them and they left the tent open all night. Not sure of the strain, but it packs one hell of a punch.

            • Thats why I trust no one and automate, I dont even trust myself anymore. I just told my wife I have become one of those old men that forgets to zip up his pants in the morning.

            • Everything you read says don’t use them don’t wast your time or money and for the price of seeds it’s cheaper to go with fresh good strains but I have not tried myself

              • How do you know they are fresh unless you breed them your self?

                    • Oh gee this post is only 15 months old. Fortunately it's about seeds..he,he,he Hermie seeds can be a prob if you let them. By that I mean you have to watch them close, and be willing to toss if needed !  Like CPW said, that's not fun. You CAN get some killer buds ! I hate and won't throw any seeds away, but I'll only plant know hermies OD in a place all there own !!!
