Recognize this strain?
I grew this plant from one of the freebie seeds Nirvana sent me with my order about 5 years ago. Can anyone tell me what kind of strain this is... just curious. Thank You.

The best you're gonna get are guesses.
Not possible to identify a strain by a leaf. If you don't know the genetics when you drop the bean, you'll never really know.
You can tell if it's predominantly Sativa or Indica, sometimes, by the leaf structure and growth traits. But with so many hybrids, and phenos out there that it's impossible to narrow down beyond that.
AND, you could always have a plant that grows like an Indica, but smokes like a Sativa, and vice versa.
Smoke test will be the determining factor if you wanna grow it again or not.
If it's healthy, clone it and keep it going, until you harvest the first one and determine if you like it.

I never grew any of my mystery seeds out. I never understood the point of growing an unknown strain or unknown sex. Kind of can fuck everything up lol! My luck I'd plant 10 and get either 10 males or 10 auto flowers!

I popped a few from my first order just for practice I think, all of them but one was male and the one that was female was great, I think it was a hybrid, but your right its frustrating to go through a grow and not know what you have. On the other hand they way breeders mix up the parents over the years I am sure the Misty Kush I have from 6 years ago would be different from a pack today. That actually sounds like a fun test.
Aren't all Autoflowers mystery seeds anyway? lol

As I recall most of those beans were sativa dominant. Hard to say going by that leaf.

If it isn't land race it is a hybrid everything most of us grow are hybrids but some lean strongly one way or the other. (ie. sativa, indica.)

My plants are in the veg cycle 18/6. The 3 small plants I know are female. But for the mystery plant is it to early to see what sex it is?

it looks old enough to tell...just google how to tell male from female...will be much better than me trying to tell you...actually I would go to youtube!!

Damn man I sincerely apologise, it slipped my mind altogether. That's like going somewhere in a wheelchair and only way in is stairs. I'll try and keep that in mind in the future!

Well yesterday I changed their light schedule to 12/12.. I'll post a pic of my 4 plants. 2 on the right are in a small barrel hydroponic system. 2 on the left are in soil in autopot system. I'm laughing at myself for this being my first grow and using 2 different systems. What was I thinking? hopefully the unknown strain is a female.
