The 1 inch Rockwell cubes or equivalent works well to keep the feet dry. About 4 of them spread out evenly.

O
I've noticed what some growers use for drainage. Some of it is pretty cleaver so I thought I'd share mine. I'm new at growing cannabis but I have used this system for growing other things so that they get proper drainage. The best thing is that it's cheap, reusable and you don't have to make anything. The green ring is sold at the Dollar Store where it now sells for $1.25. It's a firm styrofoam ring that you place under your pot that allows drainage and air to flow. The next thing is a Hyper tough automotive 7-quart drain pan that sells for $2.97 at Wal-Mart. This pan you place your green ring in and your pot on top of the ring. Using both together your pot can drain and the pan catches the run off. Once your pot has completely drained just dump off the drainage. No water in your grow tent. Maybe some of you can post what you use for some newbies like myself. Have a great day
