Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the seeds that are spotted and the seeds that are striped? Been wondering for years.

    • ive seen solid,striped and spotted seeds from my mixes i make and ones ive bought..its just the genetics...it dont make any one better than another IMO

      • I am sure there is a reason for the differences and it probably is genetics and/or maybe environment but I don't think it means anything in regards to what's inside.

          It use to be genetics 30 years ago. Indica's were striated (striped) and Sativa's were not. Sativa's  were usually clear with no marks at all.  Now, with all the hybrids, all that has changed to the point there is no rhyme or reason for the markings.
