Thanks, everyone!  After further inspection, I found worms.  The worms I could see were removed and the yellow leaves and brown areas removed.

I sprayed the plants with BT.  Should they be sprayed again in a week?

It has been humid all summer.  Would you spray them with a potassium bicarbonate mixture to kill the bud rot? 

I hate the idea of losing everything and want to do the right thing to get something useable for my time and efforts.

    • You're flowering. It's not recommended to spray anything on flowering plants.

      Hopefully by spraying your flowering plants, you aren't trading worms for Bud Rot! Once you have it, you have it. You can't kill Bud Rot, just remove it. Which is why a few of us having been crying, from cutting away half our plants. 

      If you have dry weather, you should be Ok. Just keep an eye out.
