Goats
So last Sunday I was where we keep the goats because a construction company had compromised fence on the property. I had gone home to refill my water jug and grab something to eat. I took an hour and a half break. When I got back it was bad. My Billie had his throat chewed out as well as chest and my preg nanny was done the same way. There is a church behind the property with cameras and it caught two pits digging there way in and attacking the goats. I am on a mission with .45 reasons . I found one of the pits walking in the road the day before yesterday and tried to run over it but it bounced off the tires of our work van. The boss is getting a donkey to go in with the goats. It is really amazing to see how the heard reacts to the Dominate goats death. They need another Buck to stabilize the heard. We will see how this works out. Learning as I go. I called animal control (sheriffs dept.) They said if the dogs come back on our private property that it was with in reason to shoot the dogs and said no charges of discharging a firearm in city limits would not apply to me. It was documented with the sheriffs office.

Damn, Bro, I'm so sorry to hear this.
A good donkey is exactly what you need. Get a donkey good and pissed, and there aint many critters gonna go toe to toe.

Yes sir. They are destroying private property. Livestock. I am a little surprised being able to discharge a firearm in the city limits but, domesticated dogs are the worst they will try to kill the whole heard. Unlike a coyote that will pick the weak one and kill one to eat. The dogs run them to death, playing almost. I wonder if that's why they targeted the alpha. My experience was w Sheep, and we didn't keep any rams in with all the eue's.

You always have the right to defend yourself and property, no matter what restrictions are in place. Hence I would cop a charge if I discharged outside my private property . We have the castle doctrine here in N.C. I love it. No more running away lol. Stand your ground!. Those dogs were savages, if they will do that to a big goat I have no doubt when the prey drive in those dogs are in effect I am a target as well. I blame the owners I sure would like to put some heat in them as well lol
When the deputy seen the video footage from the churches security cameras that was when the decision was made to allow us to shoot the dogs. These dogs have done this a lot. The pushed the Billie in a corner of the fence and both dogs went for the chest and throat. Defiantly not a leg dog. The pregnant nanny was out of the video area.
have a good one Bluemm!
