Soil Grow

Well when you aren't completely satisfied with how your dwc is going, you go back to what you know. Bought the last 6 bags of coco Loco and more coming in Tuesday on the truck.

    • I'm same way I think DWC a little above my thinking have always used Promix HP with good success.I try to use it 2 grows before I discard it.I give it to my landlords wife for her flower garden. This last grow I noticed the babies did not look as robust I think it had left over nutrients n hurt my seedlings. From now on only use it once.2  3.8 cubic feet bags are ,90$ so it kinda expensive but it always worked good for me

      • I would not mind growing DWC, I just feel like for me it requires a lot more attention than soil, and I don’t have a lot of spare time with 2 pre teen kids in sports and everything else soil works for me right now. I do wish I could sometimes when I see how fast others grow I’m like holy crap.

It usually stabilizes ph after this.No adding water and nutes during the 7 days because she isn't eating much. Veg she starts to eat a little .I keep an eye on water levels and make adjustments when needed. I check ph twice in 7 days. Flowering You work a little more when she goes to chugging 1 to 2 gallons a day. making adjustments to nutes and water to get my ppm where it needs to be. To me it is not bad. I am an energetic person never relaxing much lol. I like it ..oh yeah I suck at soil grows lmfao. I love numbers is the reason I love growing. Honestly I fill the humidifier up the most lol, All shit aside I would like to see ya grow dwc one time

        • im sorry to see you give up on DWC because its just not that complicated and id encourage anyone to try it!  i thought you were doing great! (look at cakefan, this is like his 3rd DWC grow)

if you have a problem, a good 75% of the time, it involves pH. once you figure it out, its just water/nutrients. im nothing special. just a glorified Culligan man. i keep things very simple. this run i havent even used Hydrogaurd (i probably should buy a bottle soon)

well you have the soil now but i think changing mediums mid-grow is going to be a big setback..

          • I know I had 1 die and two or three that developed red slimmy roots, still don't know what happened. All I know is one grow went right and I studied off of that one .

          • When I seen that you had all those plants at once I was like Balls to the wall! You had your work cut out for ya. Do you still have your equipment ? I would like to see you take 1 plant and grow in dwc. That way you still have your coco grow and the dwc is just a gain at that point. You could stand to loose it. You know Side Project. Like Sub told me If I can keep an aquarium I can do DWC. i realized that I had failures in my aquarium days but I learned and moved past those mistakes same a dwc. Never give up! You are a good grower
