Jamaican Landrace @ week 15 of 12/12

Well they say 18-24 weeks in flower and they are not under estimating it. I am a patient man but this is pushing my limits and it is just plain butt ugly.  All single finger leaves and I have been looking at those pistils for weeks, SOB is still stretching too.

    • I’ve been very interested in this run as well buddy.  I’m betting you will be happy with the final product, most of the time, the harder road has been more rewarding for me at the end.

          • I will try to keep at least the one in the tent going but when its time to start the RDWC in the grow room the ones in the ebb & flow are doomed,

            • I thought it would be nice to mix a little land race in my breeding but now I dont think so. Breeders must have gone through a lot of headaches and heartaches to get the bud we grow today, I dont see the reason to retrace their footprints. This is not the weed I remember smoking back in the late 70's

            • Hmmmm ! Lambs Breath ? Now days in Jamaica the landrace strains are few and far between, because the U.S. growers have brought higher yielding, more potent seeds to the island. Some Jamaican growers still grow the plant that their ancestors grew, but not many. Can't blame um !! If you ever get to go to Jamaica, go to Negril and ask to be taken to the grow sites up in the Blue Mountains. You'll get there by horseback and see some impressive fields. As you can see, the plants they grow mostly now are hybrids https://www.tripadvisor.com/AttractionProductReview-g147313-d16641828-Stepping_High_Mountain_Rastafari_Herbs_Tour-Negril_Westmoreland_Parish_Jamaica.html

                • I knew a retired couple that went there with the Peace Corp and had to fight like hell to get out.

                  • Wasnt it you Chubby441 that recommended the Landrace Team for landrace strains? Not that is matters, seed sales is a slightly shady business at best

                  • After 9 year in Mexico I am all done with 3rd world country's except maybe Cuba. I would like to see how they have keep every thing running for all these years. Hell its hard to find a Studebaker still on the road in the US and they still use them as farm trucks
