Yield vs Quality and the downfall of the industrial cannabis companys

Just read another article on another cannabis company in Canada going under.

Here's a question, those who have a few grows under their belts, do you try for quantity or quality? Do you always produce more than you and a dozen friends could possibly consume? This is why a business model that is quantity oriented is going to fail.

what are your thoughts on this why do you think these companies fail? interested to hear thoughts on this

          • Quality! I really enjoy growing the very best plant that I can. I normally grow one plant at a time so I tend to try to make each plant the very best that I can, some strains tend to end up bigger and some smaller but the quality of each cola of each plant is what I concern myself with.

            • I think most of use will go for quality, and I do believe this is what sets us as part from commercial growers. I do have to say that when I am choosing to hitch strain to grow I look at 3 things
              - High THC - High yield - lineage
I believe I can answer your question with a question. If you had $100 and you could buy an ounce of descent weed or half ounce of really good weed?
