Well Hell, the down side of breeding

What I thought was a back cross was actually a F2 and they are a  tall lanky plant that I wouldn't want to grow or cross with anything but I will. So this weekend I am going to going to pull most of them and try again with the intention of making an F3 and when it gets to F6 I will back cross one of the freaks with its mother. I do have some Chocolate Haze females that are crossed with the F1 Lemon OG Haze + Super Silver Haze 1 in the Ebb & Flow and 2 growing outside I think are fem. They are also tall and lanky but thats not such a big deal outside.  I also have a male and female  Afghan Hash Plant from Barneys that are doing good.   My point is, if you dont like the price of seeds try making them yourself

    • ive been makin seeds a long time and it is fun..ive made so many mix crosses i will never get to try em all out...its addicting and easy if ya have several setups where ya can run different side projects at one time i guess....im not gonna do any more cross mixing and just try ones ive made in past 10 er 12 yrs....i might make some S1 or F2 sometimes with Cs but thats it...honest!

      • i agree with you cpw.i just made blueberry cookies crossed with runtz, purple zkitlez, dosi dos and back to blueberry cookies. thats what happens when you brush on pollen to a plant and not turn the fans off.lol thought i was careful enough. boy was i wrong

        • These were all intentional but the Father was tall lanky plant so it stands to reason.

            • I really admire you guys that have the set ups in ability to do that I do not but I still enjoy studying and learning how to do it because one day I will great job and thanks for the information

              • Put up a small tent and do a little breeding in the hot summer months, trying to breed and grow in the same space is nerve racking for me so I have a 2 X 2 X 4 tent I use and so far so good.

                  It's pretty easy Hulkster ! Hey CPW if you make some F1's from the Hash Plant, I would like to trade seeds with you . I've always been kinda hesitant to talk much about seed production on WP, after all it is a seed company ! Peace
