New Genetics Day!

I've been trying to participate in the group more often but unfortunately my dad contracted covid, he fought hard for 2 weeks but ultimately lost the battle on the 3rd of February, my birthday was on the 4th! It's been an emotional few days for me! I don't do Facebook or any other social media so I figured I'd tell the only group of people I really identify with!
My dad was 84 years old, he retired from Reynolds Metals Texas plant, he was a good dude, I'm gonna miss him!

Sorry for your loss. Life is short, live everyday like it’s your last. My mom has been declining for years now and I can tell this year maybe her last. This stuff is so god dam hard.

The loss of my dad was the hardest thing I ever had to deal with... He was the most reliable source of information for me...I feel for you and your loss...time will ease the pain but it will never go away...
