Working after dark

So I planned my light cycle and did it to myself.... They are going on and off giving me about 20 min in the morning and same in evening.  Need more time w the babies!!

 

Is there a safe way to work in the tent after the lights have gone out?  Maybe by using a head lamp w a red led?

My guess is any light during the dark period is bad, but would love to know if anyone else works their plants after dark and how.

      • I think the green headlamps will work but why are you growing at night? If I do that its because of high temps but that is the least of my problems in Maine this time of year, lol.

        • Had to change out my garage lights to green they would come on randomly from a sensor! at least this way it doesn't break their cycles if they come on.

            • i run my lights at night so it helps on running ac in summer or heater in winter time. gives me plenty of time at night to do what i need to.

              • For me it just seemed that 6 am to 6 pm was the best for this time of year.  Going to invest in a green headlamp.
