Thrips

So after using pest soap, neem oil and a hotshot pest strip i still found a freaking thrip flying around my tent. I also used hotshot flying insect killer seems to work if they get soak with it but WTH?? I inspected my tent and saw several under pot pans, some looked like they were sleeping or idk but some were alive just crawling down there, i cleaned with clorox wipes and insect soap and a spray of flying insect killer, hopefully i get it under control before they go ballistic. Any advice out there?

    • Should've asked earlier...

Are you letting the soil dry out really well, between waterings? Drying out the soil helps slow them down.

      • Yeah i think thats why they were under the pans, think last water was like 4-5 days ago. I moved the top soil a bit to see if i could find some bugs, i did find 2 but i think it dry down to like couple inches very moist under that tho

      • thrips are evil i lost two tents worth about 6 months ago. but my veg tent i tried several thing and i finally got some stuff called clean green.follow instructions on the bottle. i took plants out sprayed them and soil drench. then i sprayed the tent down with bleach water then sprayed with strait peroxide let dry. and that worked for me.but they are hard to get rid of. good luck

            • learning! havent experienced thrips but wth insect infestations you have to be proactive and you will ALWAYS need to reapply! i use an azamax with insecticidal soap as a surfactant. most soaps wil work if you can contact the insect
