I used totes and a reservoir outside the tent with a chiller. Pump recycled the water through the system. Worked nice. Just it was summer, the heat, yada yada. I grew tired of the daily tending of the system.Goin to try something different and not waste so much water. Cleaning and refill was a task when things went south. I don't relish the idea of doing it again. So my current setup is now 2 2x4 tents and I am learning how to succeed with autopot system. Its not as easy as they say there is a learning curve to get them to work at peak performance. We will see how it goes and I'll share since finding info on these systems and folks who use them are primarily in UK

I love my RDWC setup, its as easy as it gets, the only downside I have found is it grows to big until you learn how to do it. A chiller and PH dosier makes it or breaks it. 2 things you learn real quick in RDWC, 1) Short Veg 4 weeks is too much. 2) Never grow autos. Nothing to do with RDWC just dont do it.

Oh I ran 2 grows the first was so good I was ready for another, and it was a nightmare. pH was all over the place. Didn't matter what I did. It would either rocket out of control or crash so hard I had to get a new meter just to be sure it was an accurate reading! There was a week towards the end I had to change out the water 3 times at about 40gals a throw gets expensive, , RO doubly so. But in the end they made it so I am exploring other methods. I may end up back in dwc because it does work really well just the bad experience fresh in my head has me steering away for a time.

RDWC without a dosier could be tough and water temperature changes can mess with the PH too. I have a reservoir for my coco auto feed and another for my Ebb & Flow that dont have dosiers but once I dial it in the PH usually holds, if anything the PH goes up. The RDWC has the doiser and the PH goes down down so much I will use a gallon of of PH up in a grow.
If your having trouble with RDWC then I dont thing DWC will be any easier. In the long run I think coco coir and an auto feed system is the way to go.

Amnesia, afraid this one wasn't Nirvana's. I did a bit of topping and lst thats about it. I can be really lazy and like to let the plants do their own thing as long as its in line with what I am looking for. Pushed it down to even it here and there...
