Before you add Hydroton, sprinkle some cinnamon around what you've got showing, making sure to get it on the stem. All that young stem is just asking for damping off. Also, be GENTLE adding Hydroton. Don't wanna crush that stem.
Next seed you pop, MORE LIGHT!!!! And as soon as it stands upright, put a fan on it. These two things will help you develop shorter, stronger stems.

Sounds like you got plenty of information to take care of this one. Like RbtAsq stated, make sure you have more intense lighting and a fan on the next seedling(s) you pop and they will be in better shape going into your final container next time. You won't get near as much stretch because of more intense lighting and the fan will strengthen up the stem as well. Good luck, have fun, and happy growing my friend!!

I've been here before. Use something to keep it supported for a week or so until it thickens up a bit and can support itself again.

Sometimes I just use a straw cut down the middle to support it and like others have said just bury it.
