Freezing for long term storage
I have to freeze most of my upcoming harvest. I will dry them until dry first is my plan and then vaccum seal them in plastic bag where I have a box of sorts to not squeeze them completely flat and then put them in the freezer. This seems to be all good according to growweedeasy.
But when I googles the issue there were more opinions and it is not for me to say who is wrong or right.
So, would it perhaps be better to freeze the buds before they are all dried? and then what, thaw the buds and continue drying? Maybe it doesnt matter?

so this is just my take, i would prepare it for smoking so that it is perfectly done and smokable, then vacuum pack it like you said with some 60-50% dry packs?
now I have seen someone store it in the freezer( dried, cured ) and it was perfectly smokable.
but my vote is dried cured freezes better.

you could also store the dried budz in jars and put in freezer...not sure if that way would be much better tho...IMO

Would it be terrible to vacuum pack it tight? I mean it would take on the brick feel, but would it hurt the quality of the smoke?

Vacuum hard can squish the hell out of buds..not cool ! If you do that you will have trichs all over the sides of the bag. I wish I could remember what Kenny told me about freezer storage but in a nutshell the fridge is better for storage up to one year. After that the freezer might be better !!

manipulating frozen weed bring high chance of breaking the trichromes. You usually freeze your weed when making kief or hash.

I have frozen lots of weed in vacuum sealed bags and it works pretty well. I dry it and cure it before I freeze it. I just busted open a bag of Garlic Breath and it smelled and looks the same.

i just keep my stash in jars after cured, but i dont keep em in frig or freezer.. just cool place. but it keeps long time..i have some jars couple yrs old. and its still good stuff.. hard sticky budz still
