Next years prep??
Quick question:
outside grow:
Is there anything I can do during the winter to get ready for next years outside grow that will help improve next years grow?

Containers, or in the ground?
If in the ground...Prep your holes.
Fill them with fresh compost (or an organic "super soil") and let it winter. Compost would be my first choice.
This will kick off a microbe party in the spring, when the ground warms.

Build a compost pile...he,he,he Like DP said, cover crops are good, getcha some Rye grass, it's cheap, germinates quickly, and will withstand the cold pretty well. You might want to get a soil test, this will let you know what is needed. I don't do much in the fall/winter but come April I'm on it !!!

Did get soil tested. Tried starting a compost barrel 😝😳😝 turned into a sloppy mess😳 Think I will prep me a few holes. Couple of places I can go ahead and prep but last year I did have some among my corn so can’t really prep holes there. Gotta figure a better way to keep up with what plant is where and still stay hidden

Went so much better! Learned a lot just from everyone on here and growweedeasy.com. Couple of people have taken me under their wings and I have been able to just text for some quick questions. Always new stuff to learn. Had decent harvest, no bud rot, (no rain either). Still my plants are no where near as beautiful or produce as much as I see in here but I WILL FIGURE IT OUT. Eternity grateful to all the help I have gotten. Posted few pictures. Thanks for checking in on me!

If you grow an autoflower in the house with natural light will the kids notice what it is?

Ask Santa for a harbor freight cement mixer. If you continue to do outdoor crops it will pay for itself taking used soil, compost, and organic materials and mixing together for grow mix.
