Do use the 30X or the 60X side of your loop to make the final call?

I dont have the greatest vision or faith in my own judgement and I dont think 60X side of the loop covers enough area so I generally use the 30X side to make the call on harvest ready or not. If I dont see anything shiny thats usually a sign for me that the plant is ready. Do you have a tell you can share?

    • I usually look for a certain amount of amber just a hint of color creeping in around the calyx. Think toast just getting that first hint of color. More or less depending on strain and desired buzz. Foggy if you don't want to be groggy, browner if you want a downer.

      • With the 60X I cant tell if I am looking at a sugar leaf or a calyx most of the time.

      • i was using a loop with a led light on it. but i just ordered a scope that connects to my phone or laptop. my eyes are not as good as they use to be.

        • I have one of those also but the picture is never very clear and it’s a bitch to hold still and focus

        • i have a click-on phone loop, they are cheapass but work quite decent to be honest

          • I have one of those also, I think my biggest problem is confidence in when I harvest being the right time. Its tough to get back up when I cant take a clear picture to share
