    • Go slow and check them along the way. I clean them up a bit and and crank 10 CW and 4-5 times CWC and take a look at them, it varies and size matters so I dont pull them all out at one time. I love mine, that said I am the worst hand trimmer there is, I could never tie a hand of tobacco either.

      • I just purchased one this year also.    I hated it at first.     For me...  I cleaned them up just like CPW said.  Trimmed the big ones by hand and the smaller ones went in trimmer.    I was not really pleased with the way they were turning out.  I ended up leaving a trimmer full on the grates or what ever u call it  overnight , without top on, just to see how it would do with 1 day  drying out a bit , and then ran it.   I liked the results better.     Hey!!!   Happy Birthday!!!

            • i just got one for my birthday! used it several times a couple weeks ago.used it on that big blue dream i had outside..it werks good, but ya have to keep ur eye on the buds tho or they will all go to salad...the biggest / most solid parts of cola's werk best and make sure you dont leave a lot of stem sticking out...the small popcorn buds will disappear if ur not watching close..is best to keep the popcorn buds separate and run those, but not as many revolutions. or just hand trim the small ones...i left the sugar leafs on but removed the big fan leafs and remove the stems off longer cola's..kinda make  piles of diferent sizes n4 u run em prolly werk best..oh BTW..im talkin about wet trim..havnt tried dry trim yet

                            • Ran a couple of plants...

I'm figuring it's me, not knowing what the hell I'm doing, but I'm not impressed.

I even took out the spacers, to get the blade closer to the grill. But it seems like the sticky leaves lay down and stick to the bud as it rolls around. Doing a lot of "after" hand trimming.

Hoping I get better at it.

                              • Nothing will compare to a good hand trimmer, for me when it come to hand trimming I am like a Lumber Jack compared to a diamond cutter.
