What's your favorite way to stress a plant or do you think stressing them is bad
The theory is plants grown in soil will have more or stronger terp's than a plant in hydro because food is easy in hydro and a plant in spoil has to work for it and stresses over that. So I have clones growing inside in hydro and in soil outside in soil and the ones in soil that I have feed nothing have a higher brix than the ones in hydro and feed the full menu. How do I balance that out in hydro assuming it is the stress

I think it is the stress that helps in many ways, unlike hydro you can dry a plant out to damn near wither and they bounce back in hours. Also as you mentioned the soil grown plant has to in some ways find its food/water more stress........how is it possible go stress them similarly in hydro would be hard now that I'm thinking about it do you lower your RH late in flower in hydro like soil usually yes I would guess but not the same since a plant in soil will evaporate its water content where in hydro your technically still in water so more stress goes to the soil grown plant, but that's assuming lowering RH is a form of stressing a plant.

You can let coco dry out a bit same as soil but in a water grow about all you can do is lower the water in the reservoirs. Actually I drain all the water out of my RDWC ever 2 weeks and if I take too long they show signs of stress like a soil grow. Maybe I should change that to every week.
I think I will give that a trythanks

Absolutely amazing how they bounce back! I was gone all weekend and it was super hot and I had left plant in pot on a piece of tin. Thought it was dead but watered it and set it in the shade. Went back in couple of hours and gave it another drink and it was standing tall and green again. I was beyond Happy! Granted it was a smaller plant but just very surprised how fast it bounced back

It is amazing isn’t it. I think I am one of the few that has actually killed a plant. don’t forgot to plug in the air pump overnight with no air gap between the net pot and the water.
I may try that too as a way to stress them a littlethanks

Oh no sure you are not the ONLY ONE to kill a plant. Wish it was only one I had killed over the years 🤣🤣 I killed a beautiful six footer. Gave it some fertilizer and it was beautiful so I thought Wow if that little bit made it look that much better I might need to give it a little more. WRONG!!! Went out few days later and it was curled all up. Tried giving it lots and lots of water trying to just neutralize it somehow. Talk about sick 🤬 Lesson learned

Super cropping is cutting top off? And when is that done? When is too early and too late?

Is a good example and according to this this, its in your Grow weed bible that you read cover to cover, BUSTED lol.
Actually that may have been another member that said that.
Anyway the first couple of try's you'll think you killed them but the next day they will be fine. If they split just put some tape around them and then when you harvest and see that tape it will make you smile a little.
