CURING

Hello there, I recently harvested my OG Kush Auto plant and dried for 5-6 days. And I cured for 2 weeks but buds are still really harsh. What would be the problem and what should I do now????

    • 4 to 8 weeks of cure time will improve the smoke for sure, and offcourse keep an eye on humidity and dont forget to let them 'burp' daily

      •  Next time, try drying them a little longer. Drying too fast can make for some harsh smoke.

Nice, slow dry, followed by a good long cure will give you a smooth smoke.

          • Keep curing. I follow the 7-7-7 method when drying. 70 degrees, 70% humidity, and 7 +/- days. I also agree that a slower dry will help improve the taste and quality. Have more patience! You haven't gave them enough time to go through the curing process yet my friend!! Have fun and happy growing!!

            • the cure will smooth out the smoke a bit. Even after harvesting you need to have patience and try to do a nice slow dry. are the buds still very moist?

              • I've used an automated curing (burps once a day) for 3 years now. I was a tester and... just wow. No more staying home for 3 weeks or forgetting to close jars at night. I'm moved onto bigger 1 gallon jars. Works awesome. :)

The jug is hooked up to a pump and timer. :)

                Edit: got them from BorealCuring.com
