if i were you i would forgot about vpd, it has very little impact on growth vigor and attempting to control it precisely in a small space can create more issues than solving some.
most important is to keep your temperature in range 18°C - 28° then rh doesn't really matter for seedling, veg, and flowering stretch, and past flowering stretch you should focus on having below 50% rh to prevent mold.

and well below 18°C growth will be slowed and above 28°C cannabis grow rather well from my experience up to 35°C-38°C without issues depending phenotypes.
you've to understand vpd is about marginal gain for large scale commercial growing operation, it has very little interest for hte home grower.
first you can't even control vpd outdoor, rh and temp on so on vpd will change all the time on a daily basis and across the growing season outdoor and will often be out of range, despite that the buds will grow and swell well enough most of the time

I disagree with ya there. Your right on vpd outside why would you try outside lol. VPD can be used by growers indoors. Why wouldn't I want my plant to be in correct humidity and temp so that the plant improves uptake and transpiration etc. When I combine vpd and dwc it is a hell of a growth rate, nothing like a slug in soil lol. Knock on wood I have not had mold etc while doing this. No matter how big the flowers are. Have a good one Vince

I personally have not put much thought into VPD I’ve always payed more attention to PAR but I will try anything that might help improve my grows. According to the chart I’m about 25% off and should be around 75% right now so I’m getting a humidifier tomorrow. I think this is an interesting topic. I do believe VPD playes an important roll, maybe even more so in DWC, however I also think the size of the plant matters as well. Vince your grows are always solid, but I have noticed when they get bigger than your normal grows seems then you loose a little control of the environment. I know what my issue is with my environment and it’s not terrible but nothing ventured nothing gained.

Thanks a lot, I think of a new name soon! I have finally graduated, lol.
I have grown a few times before, the first two grows was clones I bought (2017), then one feminized (2023) and now auto. Feminized and clones for the win for sure.
Whats holding me back now is me staying in two homes, I need to find a cannabis friendly schedule for my traveling or someone competent enough to help me out while I am away.
I looked briefly into the VDP and I am all in, kind of. I dont have much sensors/controllers lying around now, the eBay one I had for temperature and humidity (SHT-2000) has an unreliable sensor and was terrible to work with anyway.
I will make a new post later for more input to (possible) changes to my setup.
