I have tried 30 watts per sq ft will led lights but really had much better grows once I got that number closer to 50.

  Hey Hulk, nice seeing ya! 50 was the go to for blurple type LEDs but do you use 50 with the newer LEDs like Spider Farmer or HLG?

  50 is my target but I am using the PPFD maps as more of a decision maker. I hope that is a good idea.
