End of week 8!

Tent is filling up nicely. Day 50 for the GSC and 57 for the other three ladies. Can't wait to chop one of these ladies so I can start those Jock Horror beans from Nirvana.

    • I run a Vivosun Super HPS. It has enhanced blue spectrum which allows me to run the same bulb for the whole grow.  As for flushing, it's really not my thing. I start feeding regular water when I think they may be about 2 weeks out. The only time I really hit em hard with water is if I get a lockout and things stop progressing.

      • How is that different than flushing?

        • When I here the word flushing I think of running at least a gallon of water per gallon of pot. This usually results in an excess of runoff to technically flush out remaining nutrients left. If this is true the plant will generally start to consume it's reserves quicker leaving the plant starving for two weeks or so. When stop feeding and only water my plant still have access to remaining nutrients in my soul and what the plant has in reserves which in my opinion makes for a much happier plant resulting in better end results. This is just my opinion though.

        • nice lookin buncha cola's on those there plants..looks like couple of em there in back need to bulk up quite  bit more from what i can see...as far as flushing plants im one those that just use plain water a couple weeks at the end like you do....some folks flush by runnin buncha water thru the soil (if in soil) and vacumn up the run off..thats way to much un-needed werk IMO..GL

          • Thanks brother. The GSC in the back right is a week behind the other three(dud bean) and I bent over the main cola and one of the dominant side branches and she took a day or so to recover. The Zkittles on the right is the first of three tries that got this far. First bean was a mutant, second one was all Ruderalis dominant, looked delicious with great structure but, and I'm not kidding, literally had no trichomes? They were from Fastbuds and maybe it's just me but I think they needed to stabilize it a little more before releasing it. Although I did by it from a seed bank and they were not in breeder packs so who knows. 

            As for flushing, well that's a touchy subject. Me personally have not seen any difference between flushing and not. I'm not against it, I just don't have the time nor the patience. I will hit em hard if I have a suspected lockout but that's usually the only time.
