Initially I plan to outgrow this pot til I need to transplant to a bigger one. It was  wrong to fill it up with soil to the top and let it stretch for a bit.

Some of y’all said with my previous post that repotting is a good idea. So the soil could be level. But I am not confident with me repotting it right now. Used to deal with autos in final containers.. plus, to the dudes who said to repot, they might be speaking out of experience, and with which I don’t have that much yet..

What I wanna ask is if it’s alright for me, with my experience, to just let it stay like this for a week or so or til it outgrows the pot?

and in general, the best course of action. I am all ears!

get some Happy frog or Ocean forest either will be of sufficient nutritional value you shouldn't need to fertilize.KIS

lose this pot put it in a pot  big enough so the whole plant is like it should be

water, feel the weight after your run off. water til it just starts to run off, when it stops feel the weight by lifting it.

when you pick it up the next it should be considerably lighter 1-2 days keep and eye and lift it daily so you become accustomed to how it feels as the plant uses up the water. at this stage you want it to be consistent. if you find it easier, since this is something out of your comfort zone it seems, get a 50 lb / or 25 Kilo kitchen scale and weigh it when its wet and when it's dry. once you get the feel of it it will be second nature on when to water but I think consistent regular waterings are best.

ebb and flow, auto pots these just provide a method for doing that very thing, making it easier. a lot of growing is consistency

repoting is not hard.  If the pot it’s in now is flexible, flex the sides slightly to loosen the soil plug from the pot.  When it’s loose, and you have your larger pot w new soil ready, put your hand over the top of the small pot with the stem in between your ring and middle finger.

Flip the plant and pot upside down and the plant and soil plug should fall right out of the pot into your hand.

keep plant upside down till your over the hole in new soil, then gently flip the soil plug in the hole.  Bury the original soil plug and some of the exposed stem in the new soil.  Not a bad idea to throw some Mykos bacteria in the hole before you repot.
