How do you count your flower days?
here's a question that always comes around and is fun to think about, when do you start counting for the flower period?
so do you start at the switch or when pistils start appearing?
this should be interesting because some think you should count at the switch and others when the pistils show.
what say you?
and when said and done hows it work out? is it spot on or otherwise, for them finishing in the time said by the breeder?
something to toss around today
Me ? when the pistils come around it's time to count down

i start counting flowering when i flip to 12/12 i had some strain harvested in the time said by the breeder but most strain will require 2 weeks more than what the breeder say, up to 4 weeks more

I give it a week before I start counting, like they say if you think it’s ready give it 2 more weeks I think this is why a strain will say 7-9 weeks but I found always closer to 10 weeks

I actually don't really count them. I kinda know ballpark but I am more concerned with the trichomes than the time. I obviously know when I flip and when the buds start to fatten up and the leaves start looking funky I know I am getting closer so I start watching with my loupe.

Honestly It doesn't matter to me when I start to count what's important to me is when do I stop and its never at the end of when the breeders say they should finish.
