The sound of Silence

If you have ever lived in a rural area that gets snow you have probably noticed that after the sun sets there is a tranquil sound of nothing as the snow falls to the ground especially if its a wet snow. I think the wet snow muffles the sound a bit more, but you see these gigantic snow flakes gently touch down and they dont make a sound or displace anything like rain drops do in a heavy rain. 

I have noticed weed does make this experience a little better and I should mention I am deaf but the sound of new fallen snow is the best sound ever
