Big Things In Tiny Pots

This is a clone I took from an uncontrolable Jamican Landrace Mother. The mother was on 12/12 lights from 2 weeks after it popped and it has taken over a 2 X 4 tent to the point my pride wont let me post a picture and may just dump it,  but I got 6 clones this size in the Ebb & Flow now. They were cut & rooted under 12/12 after the mother showed she was a she and they were all in 2 X 2 X 2 pots of coco coir since they showed roots and mostly just given plain water but the occasional bloom mix. The mother showed signs of flower after 3 weeks under 12/12 and I think she is a little behind the clones, not sure how that happened. 

So anyway, does anyone know the progress of a landrace Sativa with a 18 week flowering time?  If that was a Hibred I would guess those are about 2 weeks or less from the 1st signs of flower but those are 5 weeks past that point. I am not sure what I am in for and I hope the smoke is as good as remember

    • Never grown anything that flowered for over four months :) From limited longer flowering sativa experience, they seem very finicky in flower, light nute tolerance. They get hairy but are very slow to progress from there. Tried gradually reducing light down to under ten hours a day toward the end, but not sure it made much difference. I guess a plant grown near the equator wouldn't see much variation in length of day maybe. Could be kind of high maintenance, but nothing like that landrace flavor :).   Good Luck!

      • I feel the same way about artichokes. LOL. A friend of mine in KY grew some Jamaican back in the late 70's, rock hard little buds and it was a wonderful high, it was also some of the first sensimile I ever smoked so I am going to guess it had that as an edge.

      • One of the best ways to keep myself from doing something stupid a 2nd time is to let everyone see the mess I made. This is what the Jamaican Mother looks like, remember she was under 12/12 light 2 weeks after she popped  when she just barly had the 2nd set of true leaves

                • I was thinking about that the other day when I damn near chucked the whole thing. Glad to know it was worth it. How long did it take from pistils to budlets like the ones on this plant?
